Choose group size first. Then specify other elements you're interested in, like (Arrangement Difficulty: easy; Tempo: medium). If a specific instrumentation is necessary (a sextet with flute, soprano sax and trumpet, for example, or a sax section), indicate that. If you're looking for big bands, don't enter any front line information, just choose Big Band under group size. Press Submit when ready. If nothing is found, try leaving more elements blank.
TIPS: To clear all selections and start over, press the Clear button in the purple strip. To clear one selection: press the arrow and press Home on your keyboard, then Enter.
To find charts for 3 flutes, or 3 guitars or violins, try C treble clef for part 1, part 2 and part 3. 3 trombones = C bass clef.
If your ensemble is beginning level, but you're featuring an experienced guest performer, look for charts with easy arrangement difficulty but advanced solos.
If you want to do an all Jazz Messengers concert, look for Recording Leader Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers.
To rehearse your sax section, enter your sax section in Part 1 - Part 5.
Play the music from your favorite bebop CD (if it's also our of our favorites): choose the title from the drop down list under Recording Title.
Look for an exciting closer for your next performance: try uptempo under tempo. Need a ballad?
To look for music by a specific composer, or a specific title, press Composer List or Title List on the navigation bar to the left.
